The group from Framwellgate have just started their campaign. Here's their first blog: We are the year 7 members of Framwellgate School Durham's environment group, Green Beingz! The past few weeks have been very busy. We recently won an award for our imaginative eco-friendly idea on how to spread the word on climate change. Our plan is to encourage local primary schools to take action against global warming by performing a play and we are using the prize money to perform it to nearby schools. We have also been busy planning an event for the 'Walk to School' project. Our best ideas include a treasure hunt around the school grounds, picking litter up along the way and leaflet drop around our homes. We also thought about making minibeast hotels in the nature area close to our school. This week we will make a final decision on what we will do and start to plan it for after the holidays.
