We are Benfield School Council and we are doing the Living Streets Step Up Campaign with Clare and Mr Hay. Clare came to our school council meeting today and explained about the project. We looked at an aerial view of our school and the surrounding area and put green stickers on the things that are good about the streets and red stickers on the things that are bad. This week we have homework!!! We are going to take photos of the things we have been talking about on our way to and from school and we will look at them at our next meeting at the end of November.

We think this project will be really good in our school as there are quite a few things we would like to think about campaigning on. For example there is one road near our school where vans park on the pavement and we have to walk on the road to get past them. There are also some very busy roads where people cross and there are no traffic lights.
