At the end of 2009, Living Streets successfully obtained funding from the Department for Health to expand the WoW scheme. This meant we could offer WoW resources at a subsidised cost to specific areas where obesity in Year 6 was especially high.

As a result, we are excited to be supporting many more schools across England to run WoW. Over two years, from September 2010 to July 2012, approximately 750 new schools will take part in the scheme.
