Getting started is simple- we’ve put together a resource for schools and parents to run a session to find out who lives where and what days they are able to walk.
‘Walking buses’ can also be a more manageable option for some parents or schools. Walking buses are when groups of children walk to school together accompanied by adult volunteers. You can find more information on them here:

Coop
The coop helps schools to set up walking buses – groups of children who walk to school together, accompanied by two adult volunteers – by providing them with a package of material, including high visibility vests for children and volunteers.
