WoW Resources 2009/10: celebrating nature in the UK

Badges


0910 WoW badge



The designs for the WoW badges have been inspired by the winning entries from a drawing competition held earlier in 2009. There are 11 badges (one for each month of the academic year, August excluded) and each features a plant or creature from the wildlife of the UK. Badges are printed aluminium and mounted on a safety pin fixing.

A different card for each month is available for pupils to record their progress. There is also a generic undated card if you prefer.

Calendar

A wall calendar for the classroom (Sept 09 to Jul 10). Each month relates to the design on the corresponding badge, and each month gives a new piece of trivia relating to the plant or creature on the badge.

WoW plaque


School Plaque
Approx. 200mm high
"Strider" character screen printed on a clear perspex wall plaque for the school to disply for participating in WoW 2009/10.















Classroom Trophy


Classroom Trophy


Same dimensions as the plaque but printed on 20mm thick acrylic. The free-standing trophy is printed with the message Class of the Month.

Available in three child sizes
Plain white cotton t-shirt with the Strider character printed on the front. Undated.

These are made from banner-grade PVC.

The banners are hemmed and have eyelets all around for attaching to railings, windows and walls.

Ideal for promoting Walk to School to parents and school visitors. Undated.

Welsh Language resources
We can offer a generic Welsh language WoW wallchart under the name of CWL. CWL is pronounced "cool" and standing for Cerdded WythnosoL. This translates as "walk weekly". For more details, please contact Glenn Reynolds at Felton communications (details on the downloadable form).
